About Alex
Alex came upon plumbing by chance - a casual work experience offer. Not thinking at the time of this being the 'dream job', plumbing surprisingly came naturally to Alex and it was not long before he became a permanent team member of Steve Wolter Plumbing.
After finishing his apprenticeship, Alex achieved top marks in his Certifying Plumbing Examination - gaining himself a 'Merit Award of Excellence' in plumbing. He has also competed several times in the NZ Young Plumbers Awards, making the top 10 finalists three years in a row and winning the silver medal in 2018 and 2019.
After 10 years of dedication to Steve, Alex bought the well-established business, continuing the high standard workmanship customers rely on and trust.
